Mr. Carter joined the former PepsiAmericas, Inc. in 2000 as Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, and in 2005, he became Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Carter was Finance Director at Pepsi-Cola International where he was responsible for developing PepsiCo's beverage franchise business for the Caribbean and Central America. Mr. Carter has 15 years experience in international operations in Latin America and the Caribbean, and nine years experience in the beverage industry.
