JOB SUMMARY:
Repair, refurbish, deliver, and conduct preventative maintenance on vending, cooling and fountain marketing equipment and all other duties as assigned. PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Repair and perform preventative maintenance on marketing equipment
- Unload used vendors and load vendors for daily delivery; remove old vendor if necessary; bring new vendor in and install.
- Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures
- Install equipment. Make holes and route lines to connect product to dispensing unit; connect water supply, gas supply; find drain for units with ice. For box syrup, build racks and connect lines
- Fill installed equipment and adjust to proper mixture
- Prioritize and schedule service and PM calls to meet customer service windows
- Drive to location, evaluate situation and perform necessary work (may include plumbing, electricity, refrigeration, carpentry)
- Collect accurate and complete equipment and customer information
- Remove old parts and replace with new parts
- Maintain parts inventory on service truck
- Establish positive relationship with contacts at service calls
- After each call, complete paperwork on job and call in paperwork every two hours
- Transport and handle miscellaneous items as appropriate e.g compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycling, trash for disposal etc.
- Follow all company rules, regulations and safety practices as described in the company Safety Handbook.
- Follow all safe-driving practices.
- Immediately report all accidents and injuries to immediate manager.

JOB ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License
- No more than 1 moving violation i.e. reckless driving, speeding in excess of 15 miles above the posted speed limit within the past year
- No serious motor vehicle violations such as DWI, DUI in the past year
- No more than 3 moving violations or serious motor vehicle violations within the past 3 years
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge
- Must be able to lift a minimum 30 lbs.
- General knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Refrigeration certification, electronic experience, relevant mechanical background, basic plumbing and soldering knowledge, or basic knowledge of CO2 and Freon strongly preferred.
- Must be able to physically move vending machines as required
- Must be able to occasionally lift/push-pull 40-110 lbs and reach above shoulders.
- Must be able to frequently bend/squat/kneel.
- Must be able to work shifts as assigned including mandatory overtime
- Must pass criminal background investigation and pre-employment drug screen.
